Changes to the GT

OK 2 banks. :biggrin

Are you using Motec to manage your fuel and thus need the EGT for each runner?

Temps or O2

You doing this with your build too?

Sorry, I went back and added a little more to my post.

Not at this point, maybe in the future. I don't want to complicate the build anymore than I already have. At some point you just have to say, enough is enough.... please give me my car back. :)

Must be EGT, I don't know of many wideband O2 sensors that will take the heat there and live.

Yes, the car is running MoTec. We still have a lot to do to get the car ready for the mile but Kevin at HPE has been burning the midnight oil and will do whatever he can within his control to get it complete. Building a set of 2" headers was not an easy task...

Watchout for heat next to the AC compressor. It will implode if it gets to hot.

Also, put some heat shielding around the starter and clutch areas. I melted my starter wire connection at Rally VI running the FRPP Borla Rear Exit Headers. Thankfully Rich Romack (GT Tech) was there to make a temporary connection for me, and allowed me to continue and get home.

Thanks for the info guys, all pipes will be sent out to JetHot on Monday for coating to help with the heat. No doubt there is still a lot of work to be done, these pics were just some in progress during the fab process.

Looks great!! I hope things go well with the build and at the Texas Mile so we get the chance to see you and that beast in Mojave in April. :cheers

Yep, I did plasma coatings on everything but I had to throw some inconel on everything to cool it down back there. Turbo's run cooler tho... so you might have it covered without the inconel extras. I love the pix, keep 'em coming! Sorry about being a backseat tuner... I just can't help it.

Best of luck with the project.

Thanks for the positive comments but unfortunately we are not ready to go. These pics were taken once the car was wrapped. As you can tell the engine was not in the car thus the reason for it looking like a dirt bike in the rear. Here is an update shot of the engine as it sits today. Dont worry though, with Kevin at HPE working all hours of the day, the car will be ready.
