Interesting that the outer part of the wheel is painted glossy black to look like it’s part of the tire. This gives the illusion of smaller diameter wheels, more like original GT-40, etc.

It's a mismatched look, to my eye. Old school wheels just don't look right to me on a supercar as futuristic-looking as the NFGT. JMHO... But I do love to see the ideas that people come up with!

Since I am from the school they tore down to build the old school, I think they look great.

And don't forget, Formula 1 cars still have wheels that look like that!

Cool concept but I completely agree. I would love to see how they are designed and how they work but I would personally pass on the style.

Two GTs were painted in “Ed’s” color; Ed’s and this one. I saw the second one on my plant tour in 2019.

The 05-06 was an homage and might have pulled it off but the NFGT is so forward-looking and is only like the original GT40 concept (and spirit) and thus has a truly unique and contemporary style. Definitely not a good look on the NFGT, IMO.

That said, the wheels themselves are impressive and would definitely look good on other cars.
