I'm in awe. I've rebuilt an olde 911, but parts are available for that. I have a hard time even imagining how much you had to do from scratch. Bravo!

Wow. Very impressive. I imagine Storm Cat is extremely jealous.

You sure do have some ugly co-workers there. Where do you find these deadbeats?

Just curious, why an old stock exhaust?
:ROFLMAO: The stock exhaust is just a placeholder because I had it. I am looking for some cross pipes for sure! Let me know if you know anyone? I'd love to trade for something. It just wasn't priority, but it is a must!

Sir, you are like a dog after a bone, relentless!

Extremely impressive effort and results, I'm (almost) speechless.

While I'm not a big wide-body fan, I'm surprised you're thinking stock body now unless your taste has truly changed.

Yes, the clock is ticking and the calendar is moving but unless you're exhausted or can't fit your kit, you've come this far, why punt now?

Also, same question as Dr. Frank, wondering about the heat sink muffler, so many better options.
Great points! I Once I hung the widebody panels on the car, I really don't love the front end and would want to reshape that. That sounds like another summer to me. You can see in the picture on the left, whoever owns it now has put bigger wheels on it and maybe lowered it. Looks a lot better, but looks a little like a wall on the front end. The picture on the right was how it was sold after Ray died. As far as exhaust, definitely need cross pipes! The stock exhaust was just put on because I had it. Looking to locate those for sure!

Doesn't Rich Brooks (GT Guy) still have an X pipe available? If not Accufab? Heffner was the other, but Im guessing he might be done making those at this point.

Here are some pictures of what the Hoffman body looks like with the panels loosely hung on the car. Keep in mind that the wheels that I have on the car are mustang wheels and about half the width of what will really go on the car. I haven't bought wheels yet, because I'm still waffling on the wide body decision. You can see that the wheel flares are pretty wide and it doesn't look good when you don't have wheels to take up that space. With no paint the front looks like the bonnet of a cobra snake I think. What do you guys think? Badass or gaudy?

Very impressive work. I seriously hope that you can help supply the community with some of the NLA parts that you have developed.

On the widebody, I typically always like those but I see what you are alluding to. It is very wide. Didn’t Ray also have a toned down version for the front available just before his passing?

I dunno how yours compares in width to this wide body GT40 by Ruffian which looks awesome to me:

What is your intent to do with the car? Strictly street driving, strictly track, daily driver?

I couldn’t find the picture of Ray’s debut of the body modification but it was similar to the silver car below

I like this front end better. I think this is more GT40 like for sure.

Those may be the Maytech versions. Those didn't have the fog lights, but I want to keep them.

I will probably track it once and then stick to street only because there are so many hard to find parts, It would be painful to have to fix it after putting all this effort into it. I have a vette for the track and I would call that more expendable.

Hi 2112,
Yes of course. In particular I made a lot of bushings I wasn't ready to sell them years ago because I wanted to test them first, but I'm good now. Some people are already driving on them! I also have about 8 sets of hinges left and a few side view mirrors. I also had some extra convex passenger mirror glass cut because that's not available either. That's the idea to keep these things going!

Yeah, it was mud, not flood. I thought that it was above the mud/water line in the garage or something like that and a camaro/mustang wasn't so lucky.
