I toured the Multimatic facility back on December 14th, and like many others I was enthralled with the quality of the production facility, the breadth of NFGTs I saw in various stages of production and the hospitality of the Multimatic crew.
I even got to have holiday lunch with the entire assembly team. It was their celebration day, with plenty of traditional holiday food to go around. :thumbsup What a great group of folks. After lunch they gave out cool Ford GT gifts to the assembly team through a raffle.
My car was completed the day before I arrived, and it looked as good in reality as I'd imagined when I spec'd it. I also saw a couple dozen other NFGTs in various states of construction. The VINs I saw ranged from the high 30s to 60. Several carbon series and heritage models where in the mix, plus some cool custom specs. It really is candy land if you're a Ford GT fan.
My car arrives in Orange County on January 15th. I'm flying back from the Detroit auto show press days to be here in time. The GT goes right from the Reliable Carrier into the PPF shop where it's being delivered. No chips on this GT! :lol
I'll update this thread with photos from delivery day. Pretty excited...
