We had a special request to develop carbon fiber diffuser vanes.
I had to scratch my head for a while to figure out the best way to tool these up.
I wanted to do it in as few pieces as possible, and as few seams as possible.
We managed to tool each diffuser in two pieces and bond them together. This requires forming the center vane in a single operation, which required a two piece tool with a rubber seal.
That may not sound like much, but it is really cool! The end result is a center vane that is all carbon, with no seams. The only seams are along the bottom edge of the outer vanes.
These vanes rivet to the aluminum underbody pan, just like the original vanes.
Interested parties can PM me, but this set is taken by a very patient client!
