I am doing 2 sets of carbon brakes right now for members here and if anyone else is interested now would be a good time to get them done. I know some have asked about this in the past.

one car is going to be using existing uprights and other car is getting new uprights to modify so he can put stock brakes back on down the road.

I’ve put about 24000 on my car with them and they are an amazing addition to the car. Probably about 7 other cars worth out there that I’ve done over the years.

I ordered the correct (I think it is - really sure it it) Brembo kit people said they used but it needs and adapter to go from the Chevrolet bolt orientation to the Ford bolt orientation. I can't find any reference to that anywhere. Can anyone help me out?

That wont work.. you can not just adapt brembo carbon carbon calipers to the gt spindles.

It is possible according to other posts in the forum. I'll figure it out.

You have to have fixtures made, hire a machinst to figure out how to do it and then drill through the calipers to make it work.. There is NOT a bolt on carbon ceramic brake kit.. The corvette stuff mounts 100% different that ford GT stuff. I've been doing these kits for 15 years now.. If you can do that is awesome. But there is nothing you can buy that bolts right up with any sort of bracket...
