OK, so we've been quiet for a while....
Working mostly on GTX1 roofs and our regular parts production, as well as ever-increasing contract manufacturing for other firms.
I've had loads of requests to produce aero parts for the GT, so the past couple of weeks, I've had one of my crew pattern up a wider version of the original Ford GT side splitter.
The function of the side splitter is to keep air from spilling over the side of the car and getting under the car. If you can separate the air flow, you develop more down-force. So, directionally; a wider side splitter is going to be more effective.
We kept the original plan view shape and section, but extended the width a full 1 inch.
Not only does this provide for better air flow management, but it looks really cool too!
I have three sets of these finished and we are introducing these at $1900 a set.
As with about everything else we make, they use all of the original factory attachments.
Intersted parties can PM me for more details or ring me at 313 595 8579.
Sorry, for the poor photos, but I just wanted to get the word out.
