Yes, very solid construction. I have the 110V but they do have a 220V option.

The first lift I purchased a dozen yrs ago was a 110v BB.... It is not bolted down and has been used extensively as both a lift and an engine hoist and has performed flawlessly..highly recommended!

Daniel DJ, how how is your ceiling?

10'6" clear from finished floor.

Recessed the lights that are over the lifts:

so i ordered a Bendpak model HD-9XW 4 post lift today from Summit Racing. it runs off of a single phase 220 volt which my shop has 7 outlets for. $3010 shipped to my door :thumbsup

it can lift every vehicle i own including my F-250 Superduty as it is oversized in length and width and can lift 9,000 lbs. high enough that i can walk under it :biggrin

the ceiling height in my shop is 12 feet high.

i will post pix of the install, etc. next month....

here is a link to it > http://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/four-post-lifts/hd-9xw.aspx

I've got the Bendpak double wide, lifts two cars up at the same time. Put both the toys up top, and the dailies underneath. During summer weekends, I take a toy down, and put the daily up in the air. I have 11 1/2' of height. The big problem is that not only can I knock myself unconscious on the GT door, if I'm not careful, I can do it on the lift crossbeam too. My lift is also rate for 9000 pounds. 2 4 post lifts would have given me more "flexibility", but having 8 posts in a 20x20 garage would have doubled my wife's chances of hitting a post (or 2). If my memory serves me, the double wide ran $6050. well worth it!!!

I've posted this before but here's my bend Pak

Works great except for one detail. The bolts that hold the bottom plate are a bit too tall so I can't put a low car on the bottom without risking underbelly damage. I need to figure out how to fix this but I may be at fault as I tried leveling the lift in the first place and probably put too much concrete as a leveler.

Your bridge jack is mounted backwards. It should be spun 180.......:rofl
