Car Cover

Re covering with wing up vs down, California Car Cover's website asks for Make, Model, Year, and then Trim which gives these 2 options: "Base With 2 mirror pockets with wing deployed" or "Base With 2 mirror pockets with WING RETRACTED (Ford recommends storing car with wing deployed. Choose option with wing if you intend to store car with wing deployed.)"

I don’t bother to cover my cars I much rather look at them when I open the garage

I never cover my cars except the 2005 Thunderbird that I need to store with roof down.
The "On/off/abrasion on dry surface/ tugging concerns me. I would never even drag a dry microfiber over the surface let alone a stretch car cover.

I did ,like most , get the car covers for both the 2006 and 2017 Ford GT 's but they are still in the box.

Ditto here Andy!

Stupid question, I just ordered one for my mk2, wouldn’t that work for the street car with wing up?? I’d guess it would be a little loose but work.

Like extrap, I have always had good luck with California Car Covers. I use it for my 2005 GT and it fits well, is soft and provides protection while keeping the car clean between car shows.

Car covers.com works very well on my 2017 Ford GT with the spoiler up or down. Excellent fit and quality and had the embroidery done locally! Less than $165.00 in all! Snug fit easy on and off. I also have an outdoor cover equally as good! PM I was the first New GT owner to NOT purchase a car cover from Ford on my order as I was NOT going to purchase $795.00 cover for my $500,000 Plus order! All the Concierges got a laugh out of that but I didn’t give a Sh..! I can purchase a lot of Tito’s & Orange juice with that money, and I have! Good Day! 😀
