Soroush - they are just overlays or veneers of CF that cover the stock part. Pretty much what most of the Vette & Stang gang go with. The real way to do it is to replace the stock part with a CF part - lightweight & looks cool.

Real or implants vs. padded bra.
I agree that for large or structural pieces where there may be a weight savings or a strength issue, a molded carbon fiber piece is the way to go. But with accent and trim pieces like this there are no weight savings and it's basically a cosmetic upgrade. The cost to mold and build these parts from 100% carbon fiber would be cost prohibitive. Just to be clear, he does use real carbon fiber overlays and it is indistinguishable from a completely molded part.
For you purists, he can make a mold of any part you want and produce it from 100% carbon fiber. Just bring a fat checkbook.
This is just a sideline for him. This guy's main business is building race car bodies out of carbon fiber. He has been asked to become a forum sponsor but he would like to be sure there is a demand for his products before committing. Just a few more orders and we'll have a new supporting sponsor.
