With all of the comedians around here there are numerous reports of people spitting up coffee on to their monitors.. I think we need a new guy for that ...... man I love this place......op

As I look at the world today.....

.......and attempt to make sense of it all. Especially given today's political situation, I find myself using fewer of these :banana and these :cheers .

And I find myself using a lot more of these :willy. Willy is the symbol of 2008. I look out in horror as I watch thousands of my countrymen enthusiastically cheering phrases like "we must have shared responsibility for shared prosperity", "I will take their profits and use them for....", "I will reign in America's corporations", and "we are our brothers keepers". Similar crowds, equally uneducated and ignorant of the known laws of economics, also cheered wildly as Stalin proclaimed, "from each according to his abilities, and to each according to his needs".

There is a certain nobility in attempting that which is both unknown and untried, even if that attempt results in failure. There is no such nobility when one reinstitutes policies that are well known, and have a long track record of failure every time they are tried and without a single noteworthy success. Here, there is only folly and foolishness.

How's that for a thread hijack! Let me get back on point. If this forum does come up with a new guy, don't even think about eliminating :willy, as he is necessary for my survival.

I was "paid" (handsomely!) by a Scottsdale resident (or two!) to bag said census. So I did. Besides, wifey & I caught a nasty lil' "bug" in Vegas and I didn't have the energy to pursue same anyway.
