I think that would be one good looking car.

Ooooooooooooooooow!!! 'MUCH GOODER' LOOKING than the present offering.

DANG! I like those bumpers!

What's the story on this? Is sumbuddy actually offering these on mebbe a C-6 chassis or "body conversion" (like CRC does), or what? :shrug

Is this available or is it conceptual?

"C3R is a Third Generation (C3) Retro Corvette Stingray which is based on the Sixth Generation (C6) platform. We are currently in the tooling development phase, more information will be added as the project continues."

('Couldn't stand it! 'Had to find out for myself!)

yeah! I like it as well.

Absofreakin'lutely

Look at how similar are the lines of the C3 and the Ford GT in Freddy's post. The engine placement seems to create the difference. No wonder that the C3 is my favorite all-time Corvette - especially with the L88 package. Never owned one though, as I was driving my '66 Mustang 2+2 at the time.

Wow! That is beautiful....

I'd have that for a daily driver in a second!

I assume the idea is a body kit for a late-model Corvette... I hope they make it.

I've sent them an email asking for info (availability, target release date, projected cost, etc.). 'Will post their reply when I get it.

Well! THAT didn't take long! Here's the reply:

"Hi Larry,

Thanks for you suggesttion, I hope I can make this car happen but with the current economy crises I've had some set backs. In the down time I've been redesigning some areas that bothered me, I will post some new renderings soon.

My goal is to have a running prototype to unveil at the Woodward Cruise in Detroit next August and then at the SEMA show in Los Vegas. after that if there's enough interest I will begin producing kits. I can't give you a price right now but I can say that I am using as many carry over parts as possible to make it as cheap as I can.

I live and work in Germany, but I grew up in a little town about a hour north of Detroit, Michigan

Kind Regards,
Chris"

Soooooooooo, understandably, 'looks like it will be a while before this project can get off the ground.

(Thank you "CRA", bank "mortgage bundlers", Wall Street, and all your pals at Freddy & Fanny for creating THIS pblm too. :bored :thumbsdow)

That is too bad. I really like the 68 thru 72 stingrays.
