Bringing our Ford Brothers home

In a nut shell I was contacted by a gentelman over in Belgium. His brother passed away and was fond of Americam muscle cars. The family was fighting over the cars so it was decided to sell them and split the money. I hopped on a plane and found myself in an old wherehouse in a town called Turnhout. Here sat 4 Shelby mustangs, a Mach 1 and a Pantera :eek. I climbed into the cars, evaluated them and made an offer. They accepted, I worked on the cars for three days to get them ready for transport :ack. Some times you never know when you get the call and you have to hit the ground running. There were two other guy's in the wings waiting to hear if I had purchased, but I beat them to the US steel for a reasonable undisclosed amount. They will reach American soil in the first part of August.
Welcome home Boy's :biggrin

Do you know what happened to the dark red Vette in one of the pictures?

What! Next, you´ll all be coming over here to steal our girls .... stop it :biggrin:rofl

Congrats on the purchase - nice bunch of cars. The 69/70 convertible, is that one rare "sold as new in europe" ones - the ones with some special features?

:cheers
Anders

Yes, the 70 GT 350 convertible is verry rare. I think only about 60 some were made. It was sold in the US and has traveled around Europe to a couple of diffrent ownes. And yes your Girls are extreamly pretty! We wre comming back over to get some of them next :biggrin

Way to go. Great find. All it takes is nads and a some loot.

Did you consider buying the 64 vette? Did Shelby produce automatic GT500s?
