Although the new A/F gauge has this feature "out-of-the-box" (for A/F datalogging), you'd have to improvise something to get the readings from the MAP sensor in FreeFlyer's boost gauge set-up..... at least on the ones I have installed.

Worst case you have to trace the 3 wires coming off of the GM 3 bar map sensor and tap the 0-5V output signal.

This is true as we discussed and IMO a no brainer if full spectrum data logging is the goal.

The system is being wired in by BlackIce at this time along with several other items.

Agreed. I was simply trying to make the point that an explicit attribute of the AF gauge kit (which is VERY nice!) is that a provision for datalogging AF is included. If an owner wants the additional ability to datalog boost, the Boost gauge is definitely an enabler (compared to OEM), but there's a little more work to do to tie everything together. All straighforward, I agree, at install time.

I can make a pnp harness for those that want to datalog the boost gauge also. Just let me know what you need and we can make it happen!

With one taking their time it will take between 2-3 hours to install the gauge. It's plug and play, there is no (wiring) to do other than pluging in the gauge to the factory harness and running the MAP sensor harness to the engine compartment.
This is a really cool mod.....I just got off my ass(bought it last year:ack) and got around to installing it in my car along with replacing a dead fuel gauge. It is a well thought out and designed piece.Everything is of oem quality or better and it was easily installed with the directions provided(and a little help from the search function and a few of Shadowman's posts)and worked perfectly the first time.I could not be happier with this mod!
