I don’t know what they’re drinking or smoking, but I was watching the vegas auction tonight, and shortly after a 5k mile ‘06 Heritage sold, a, shall we say, “enthusiastic” bidder paid exactly the same price for a 7K mile ‘05 red.

I realize 500k Heritages are rare nowadays , but 295? Seller must have been desperate.

Nope, I just wanted to sell, and the market is now what the market is.

The last 500K sales were at BJ last January. I've not seen any since.

Also, the big-buck heritage sales have (mostly) been cars with near-zero miles.

lol! I've never sold a 'toy car' yet that I've NOT had someone make a similar statement afterward! And most had known the cars were for sale all along!

'Wonder why that is? :ROFLMAO:

Well, you can LOL till you get tired, but I would not have posted if I didn’t mean. And, I didn’t know car was for sale, nor did I know it was someone on here that owned it until today .
I’ve had several GTS over years. I never get tired of folks thinking they know what someone’s intent or motive is.

WHOA!!! You've misinterpreted what I was trying to get across!

'Was NOT suggesting what you obviously took away from that post...but, now that I've reread it, in light of your take on it, I can understand WHY you took it that way.

I truly HAVE had individuals whose sole intent was to 'play the roll' contact me a day or two after my car(s) sold telling me they would have given me "X" number of $$$s more for it. None of them could have afforded to buy the tires off 'em. YOU aren't in that league. You can buy whatever you want.

What struck me funny was 'hearing' YOU make that same statement.

I'm OLD. You have to make allowances...

Here's my take on sales on the forum:

When all is said and done, more is said than done.

I didn't put mine on here because Eddie beat me to the punch. In all ways, they were identical cars...
