Billet Ford GT gas door with engraving now available


There are some very cool and functional improvements that can be made to our beloved cars.
Tops on my list are Johns billet clamshell Vents.as Chip hassaid in the past."they look so good you don't know they are replaced!"
The clamshell lever the Gt guys manufacture is also superb.
Now the gas cap! Another very cool item!Mine is going on this weekend!
I can't wait! Iwill be sure to post pics!

Yes I decided to paint them black so that the black wheel wouldn't clash with the silver. We just used some high heat grill paint, painted the whole rotor, reinstalled, and used the brakes to trim the paint off of the breaking surface. Once I get the new wheels installed we will see how things look.
 
I see my confusion, the rotors are black on the friction surface in the pictures, you must have just done it, and not driven the car yet. That would be an interesting trick to have an iron black appearing rotor (that was of course not carbon). Wonder if the paint will take the heat if you track it again.....

Yea thats right we just finished them without a drive yet. The paint is high heat charcoal grill paint so I hope it holds up OK but if not I will try something else.
 
All of the fuel doors have shipped today. :banana Just waiting on a few payments and the rest will be on there way as well.
