Best insurance rates for these cars? Michigan owners in particular.

Who are the GTX-1 owners using. I'm with Allstate at $891- each 6 months.
what are you setting your value at for insurance purposes. Does anyone have a set replacement value on the X-1 that the insurance company doesn't question?

We are a new advertiser on the forum and are also GT owners. We are a direct competitor with the Grundy's and Hagerty's of the world. Our program allows us to insure any car that we feel has collectibility, either now or potential. If you ever need a quote or advice on your car, feel free to contact us. Ask for Drew, if I am not available, any of our agents can help.

Always keep in mind, a collector policy is not apples to apples with a standard auto policy (allstate, state farm, etc)

yogi95 do you cover Canada or US only?

Max is 5K miles/year Yogi? SF gives me 7500.

Gtx-1 owners, who are you using?

06FordGT we only cover US. However, try Lant and Co for Canada.

fjpikul you are correct 5k per year is our max. However, with SF how are they covering the value of the car if it is totalled? We are working with some other companies that are using a 6k per year plan and a rollover mileage plan, sort of like cell phone minutes. That should debut sometime in 3rd or 4th quarter.

WI ins

Started reading this thread and couldn't remember what I was paying. Was pleasantly surprised to find out I'm paying $268.79 per 6 months. Coverage is 250/500/100 with underinsured at 250/500 and deductible at 2K. Limits are set to lowest limit that will allow umbrella to be attached so effective coverage is much higher. Car is listed at low mileage - 7500. Of course that's SW WI in rural town of 10,000.

Supposed to be replacement value, but thread did get me thinking about establishing a value so have asked agent to check on listed value of $225K.

225 for an all black car? That's ridiculous. Only RED cars and the rare Heritage might get that. Too much cheese for you.

Figured regular price for mine plus a little extra for a red one!

... and by the weigh, cheese is good for you!
