interesting that the chevy silverado made the best and worst resale value lists. are they using the same type of math used to count stimulus jobs created?

No. That requires integrating nonexistent zip codes and legislative districts into the mix...

The best car is the one you drive and enjoy.

The worst car is the one you buy and leave in the garage!

I'm not going to look at the list and would bet the BMW made the worst car in looks and in value and scored high in gay appeal...

I didn't look at ALL the catigories, but, BMW wasn't even ON the "worst resale value" list. :lol

However, I DID scan the all the "category titles" for you, Sam, and "gay anything" wasn't there! :frown :rofl

I wonder how those percentages of resale value would change if based on actual sales prices and not MSRP. Dodge offers huge incentives on the Ram (on the worst resale list) when actually if you would have bought an SLT Quad cab you could have received over $12K off of sticker. A savy buyer can drive one a year for amost free. I would rate that one of the top resale values on my list. Chevy Silverado Crew Cab would be next.....but would cost you a few grand more for a comparable truck and a bit harder to get your money back in a year, but close. The Chevy will bring more used but apple to apple the Dodge provides a greater ROI.

Take a look at the engine option....the best resale value bracket had the 6.0. The worst resale bracket had the other engine options. Would it be fair to assume that biggest and least fuel efficient vehicles have better resale value based on the silverado stats?:rofl

From my experience with both I find it just the opposite. Crewcabs with the 4.8V-8 or 5.3V-8 much better than a 6.0.
