Okay...the Covid lock-down must be getting to me.
Admittedly this is somewhat off-topic and being picky to a fault and I'll probably regret posting it, but, this bugs me:
What IS the deal as regards wearing brown shoes with black/charcoal pants and socks and a grey sweater? Yeah, I know his gloves have brown in 'em, but, come on - they aren't really a part of his 'ensemble'.
'Seems these days guys wear brown shoes no matter what color the rest of their attire might be. So much so that, today, Lonesome George Gobel's query, "'Ever get th' feelin' the world is a tuxedo and you're a pair of brown shoes?" would probably just be met with blank stares.
'Guess I must be too darned 'old school'...or, as I mentioned, the lock-down is getting to me...or perhaps both.
