Before / After GT Guys Enhancement at Carlisle - Video enclosed -->

EP, nothing to riled up about. You know ground clearance isn't an issue when the car never leaves the garage.

Great video and an excellent comeercial for the GT GUYs

They deserve it - they do incredible work in a professional manner. Thanks for your kind compliment on the video.

Cheers,

Lance

Video very nicely done, just like the event.Thank you again Lance.

Nice Video . If you got some video of Rich and Dennis with the two model chicks ,you could have gotten free labor for life!
Next time !!

So true... hey, at least I caught a few still-shots! :biggrin

Lance,

I finally figured out how to clip a section out of a longer video sent to me a while back from a local Mustang Club I run with; as most of the FGT's remain garaged; and posted my first You Tube video from a Dyno pull back in May. Totally happy with the numbers with the pulley and tune. With the Falken FGT racer restricted to about 525 on a race day, who needs more?

Pete-

Very nice!!! I always enjoy hearing that beautiful sound in the morning - thanks for making my day!

+1. What's the new coefficient of scraping? I lowered my Porsche to GT3 height and it scrapes quite often. But the splitter is durable and I don't mind fixing/replacing it. I just couldn't stand that with the GT.
And what new coilovers did you have installed? What are your impressions?
Thx,
P.S. Very nice video

I've lowered one of my GT's by about an inch and have never scrapped. My GT3 and GT3RS, however always seem to scrape. It's function of overhang in the front and geometry.

So far so good... the only place it scrapes is entering/exiting my driveway... if you take it at the right angle it doesn't scrape there either. I believe it's perfect! It sits just right and looks much nicer in my opinion. I'm thrilled with it overall.

Good luck,

Lance

Oh, I didn't know the car could be lowered with the stock suspension components. Interesting and tempting. And I do have a spare splitter tucked away just in case.
Though the cost is too extreme right now, I've never met a car or bike that couldn't be substantially improved by a suspension makeover and will do an upgrade on the FGT sooner or later. Ohlins on my (ex-) R1100's, Bilstein's on my 997. I'm more of a handling than speed guy and it has always been the single biggest and most satisfying improvement in the driving experience.
I guess I'll stay in the research phase for the time being.

Drive it down to Kendall in Valencia (aka Cooltech LLC) I bet if you get there early enough, you would be driving back the same day or perhaps a Saturday Night stay over and a trip to Magic Mountain.

I'm startin' a "list"......................:mad

'Mizzerbull, no account, dadgum buncha............

You guys are all thread hijackers...

Pockets, add me to the list under BMW hatter...:wink

I know the feeling... the only downside to owning one is that you have to sleep at night (well, I do at least). I'd rather be driving it or looking at it. This car is art on wheels - I still (and always will) sneak a peek in the garage to check her out.

I just had the car protected by XPel - it amazes me how great it came out. You can barely see the seem because they wrapped it in all the right places. Life is good!

Lance

PS Don't hesitate purchasing one when the time is right - I didn't and I don't regret it one bit!
