Stripes

No clear coat over the stripes. It is painted over the top of the base color, white. We can't clear over it as it will take the flat look away. I can't even wax over it. Glad I didn't do the whole car in flat black.

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words. I am just about done, but I had to put it on the back burner as the customer cars come first. I plan on some late nights this week and I will have more pics. The vents from Pe2unia are painted flat black and look sweeeet.

Did you clear coat over the flat black stripes?

I am looking at doing the same to a 2010 Mustang?

Update

Well the clamshell and the brakes are done. I thought that polished calipers would be go with the theme of the car. Notice how the whole clamshell intake vent is smooth!!! Did another trial fit for the "Vintage Style" exhaust today so we are getting closer to having that complete. The first drive is getting close. We still have a few more surprises in store! One of which many of you will be quite interested, but only time will tell. I like how the flat black stripes flow with our smoked taillights and 3rd brake light.
