BBS Wheels - Color, Comment, Other Questions

Has anyone ever attempted to touch up the small nicks and scratches on our BBS wheels? Where can I get the paint? Is there a clear coat?

While washing and waxing the rims, I noticed that the wheels are made in Japan along with the Bridgestone Tires - I wonder with the recent earthquake if there will be longer delays for the tires!

Lastly, I found a very small nail in the center of the rear tire and it is not leaking, plug or patch?

If not tracking, plug and patch both - Discount Tire will do this for free, and rebalance if you have bought any tires from them - don't have to be for the GT. Don't forget to tip them.

I have a number for a guy that fixed up one of my wheels a couple years ago. He repaired some deep scratches and spot painted them. Perfect.
He said he had to spend alot of hours trying to figure out the match on the paint.
Hopefully someone here has the magic recipe.
Let me know if you want his number, he was in O.C.
 
I just did the same thing , pull wheels off , clean them and noticed they are made in Japan. Kind of surprised me. There is a business in my area called Alloy Wheel Repair. Sounds like a franchise, google them.
 
I believe the paint is available directly from BBS.
