Parking at the auction?

Chip,

Do you know if there would be any special (i.e. protected) parking for our gals if we drove them to the auction site?

If you want to sit and watch the action at B-J you MUST register as a bidder.
Get there early to get a good seat.

Do you have to register as a bidder or can you still see the auction with just a General Admission ticket?

There is usually a grandstand set up for folks to watch the auction stage.
The chairs are reserved for bidders, each bidder gets one pass.

I don't know of any protected parking at B-J. I will have protected parking at the dinners. I watch the auction every year from the grandstands with a General Admisson ticket.

Protected parking would be VIP parking which comes with Biding packet if registered as bidder ($400) you get two passes to everwhere. Without, your in the grandstands and parking in off lot locations. Go on line for details (Barrett-Jackson.com) Tomy Hamon

Allow me to clarify the VIP pass is a either on a sand or grass lot and on an open field. No guarantee of who you park next to. If you want to be safe leave the FGT at a hotel and take a cab in.

Exactly BONY! Taxi/limo, IS the VIP method. And keep in mind the dust at BJ, grass lot or not, is terrible. Plus, it usually rains for the BJ, so now you have mud......... Just call me "sunshine"....

I have some openings for detailing if anyone is interested. These openings are for the 14th and 15th, both A.M. and P.M. slots on both days. If you're in town, and perhaps drove your GT to Scottsdale for the dinners, you can have it detailed before the dinner and show everyone you like to keep it clean :biggrin
