Interesting stuff .... the refusal to "stand at attention" for the national anthem has always burned me.

It comes down to if Bush is going to "help" McCain win the presidency by shifting some policies to undermine the democratic edge. Maybe free up a large portion of the national oil reserve to drop fuel prices and drive the dollar back up by driving the speculators out of the market on oil would be one way.

Funny thing is that I saw something similar saying Obama was the anti-christ. I'll look and see if I can find that one. will post if I do.

Rev. Wright to Speak at NAACP Dinner
Wednesday, April 23, 2008 9:03 AM

By: Ronald Kessler

The Detroit chapter of the NAACP is featuring Barack Obama’s longtime minister, Jeremiah Wright, as keynote speaker at its annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner.

The event this Sunday is billed as the largest annual sit-down dinner of African Americans in the country. At least 10,000 people are expected to hear the Rev. Wright speak.

The question is, Why would anyone want to hear Wright make his trademark denunciations of America as an oppressor of blacks and a creator of the AIDS virus to kill them off?

“When you take the t-e-x-t out of context, you’re left with c-o-n, and we have been conned,” Detroit branch NAACP President Wendell Anthony explained as he announced the dinner’s speaker at a news conference.
Defenders of the Rev. Wright apparently think Americans are fools because they can’t be relied upon to understand what Wright is saying. When Wright shouts, “Goddamn America,” the context is clear as a bell.

Louis Farrakhan, who received a lifetime achievement award from Wright’s church in December and whom Wright praised for his “integrity and honesty,” uses the same bogus claim that his words are being quoted out of context as he makes hate-filled comments against America, whites, Jews, and homosexuals.

If this invitation from an organization dedicated to stamping out “racial hatred” is shocking, it is far less so than the fact that a man who has described Wright as a friend, mentor, and sounding board has a good shot at becoming president.

In the same vein as his association over two decades with Wright, Obama has had a “friendly” relationship with William Ayers, who has said he wishes he and the Weather Underground, of which he was a member, had done more than bomb the Pentagon, Capitol, State Department, and police stations.
“I don’t regret setting bombs," Ayers told The New York Times in a story that ironically ran on Sept. 11, 2001. “I feel we didn’t do enough.” For good measure, Ayers added that he would not discount the possibility he would do it again.

Defending his relationship with Ayers, which has included help when he first ran for the Illinois Senate, Obama said in the recent Democratic debate that he is also friendly with Rep. Tom Coburn. Obama described the Oklahoma Republican as favoring the death penalty for those who carry out abortions.
“Do I need to apologize for Mr. Coburn’s statements?” Obama asked. “Because certainly I don’t agree with those either.”

Radical as Coburn’s position may be, he was proposing legislation to be passed by Congress. That is quite different from Ayers’s admission that he bombed innocent people in violation of criminal law.

Instead of finding ways to excuse them, Obama should be denouncing both Wright and Ayers. Obama’s problem is that he does not know right from wrong.

Thanks for the post. Americans needs a constant reminder because if either of the Donkey Party candidates were elected President, the future would be very bleak.

You can COUNT on it. George Soros has earmarked $350M to fund anti-McCain smear ads on the 'net and in the mainstream media. And, he has a couple of the biggest smear merchants on the planet working with him in this endeavor. :thumbsdow

In the upcoming election:

On one side, you have a bitch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer . . . and a lawyer who is married to a bitch who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good looking woman with big breasts who owns a beer distributorship.

Seems clear to me :lol

I was not able to see the video (seems to be removed). All this stuff about Barack’s middle name would be very relevant if he was running for president of his second grade class, but really is that how we decide things for the US president?

Help me find it.

Rats! The video has been removed from that site. It has most likely been made available someplace else as somebody obviously took a lot of time and trouble to put it together. If anybody is able to locate a link to it, please post it back to this thread. I'm not done sending it around yet. :biggrin

Thanks! :cheers

Decided lunacy.

All this stuff about Barack’s middle name would be very relevant if he was running for president of his second grade class, but really is that how we decide things for the US president?

05,

Most of what I hear about Barack's middle name comes from Obama himself. He doesn't want people using his middle name because it sounds Islamic (it is). Though his voting record has earned him in the title of the most left wing liberal member of the entire United States Senate, he doesn't want people to call him a liberal (he is). He chastised Maureen Dowd telling her that he's very sensitive about people making remarks about his big ears (they're huge). He's hairtrigger quick to scream racism for any perceived criticism of his record(there's a lot criticize) while casually trashing his own grandmother calling her a "typical white person".

In this day and age of the American Idol viewer, baseless, moronic, tripe plays a big part in how we select our US presidents. When I see exit polls showing women explaining their vote by saying, "When I look at his face I just feel that...." I want to throw up. Presidents should be selected by serious people viewing the candidates qualifications, background, judgment, and patriotic passion. Fortunately for Barack Obama, this is not the case, as any serious examination of his qualifications would show him to be unfit to serve as president of his second grade class.

voted most likely to be impeached by his second grade class more likely... but wait ... wasn't he at the islamic school in second grade?

The point of the matter is what agenda is he pushing? It seems to be very anti american ... more over very ANTI WHITE AMERICAN. I'm sorry but I am a marine and a very dark green marine drill instructor taught me that there is only one color .... GREEN... there are many shades but there is only one base coat.... GREEN. My point here is if even us lowly flunky military personnel understand that there is only one color why can't the people elected to lead them understand that too?

Obama is a liberal who believes that whatever group he is speaking to he is a part of, or fighting for, or ought to be fighting for .... against who you might ask? THE MAN ... someone that has not existed for over 100 years or likely was just an imaginary character from some "b" movie. Its easy to think that someone is out to get you when you don't have the drive to never admit defeat.

Back to the green. My best, dearest, and most trusted Marine buddy ... was dark green, came from Watts, and hated what he called "the black ghetto mindset" ... he felt it demeaned him as an individual, he felt that people that thought that way had no drive or determination and only wanted a free ride. He refused to ever take the easy way which often made it much harder on me as we where often (read that as always) assigned together. The man had more courage in one drop of sweat than any politician that I have ever seen or heard. He could not swim yet signed up for a unit that swam 50% of the time in the open ocean usually at night. He learned from the guy that was tied to him (me) ... I only had to carry him once and he never let me forget it. To this day if I needed a hand up ... I know when I open my mouth the first hand I would see would be his. I spoke with him about Obama ... he said he's voting McCain. I think that in itself speaks volumes ....

For me, I am tired of being portrayed as a character ... I am a white (atleast my dl says so), male but I have never had slaves, nor am I a "cracker", I do not hate ethnic groups (my ethnic background is diverse) and I do not fear black (or other ethnic groups) based upon their skin tone. I am tired of being persecuted by ethnic terrorists who hate others that don't match their own pigment-ideology. As my friend mentioned above would say ... "if you don't like the ghetto ... move, if you don't like your life.. change it, if you complain about your skin color effecting how others see you .... your a racist. .... grow up."

I think I need to bring him to the rally.
