Does the mirror you have also feature an internal passenger compartment light?
Bony, unfortunately the Audiovox does not have any lights. I had to give them up. I'll see how that goes and how inconvenient it is. As far as the heat goes - no long trips yet - so have not had temps up too high. By the way - the $450 installation also included mounting the temp sensor and the compass.

Seems to me rgates has never sat in or driven any supercar, or been on the internet long enough to know better than to type all caps.
A spectator should keep quiet until asked. :biggrin
We all know the front and rear spoilers are the big issue here, not whether you can see over the steering wheel. I don't have a problem seeing other cars, it's the damn concrete parking blocks that sneak up.

Not sensitive Ron, just perplexed.
Most people who have driven the GT would admit that it's awkward to reverse - it's not a daily driver and this, combined with limited visibility, makes the driver less than confident where the diffuser and rear bumper is when reversing. I have a few cars and yet the GT is the only one I've ever clonked reversing - and I'm not some old guy either.
A back up camera is a less than ideal solution in some ways, however it is a solution.
Just out of interest, what is the build date and VIN of your Heritage?

I’m sorry if I offended anyone. I think this is a great (THE BEST) and informative place to visit for Ford GT info……. (You bunch of old farts are cool too……)

Well, not to push anyone's buttons, but I don't feel that I need anything more than the mirrors to park properly. Backing into a parking space is fairly easy using mirrors. Maybe because I used to back up trucks.
But I am now backing out after pulling into a space. I ease back and glance between the two side mirrors and the rear view mirror. First times were a little slow because I was not used to glancing into three mirrors as I was backing, but now it is getting fairly easy. :wink
