Aventador

To me, and IMHO, I think every car Lambo has built in the last 35 years has been a continuation series of the Countach. And yet their CEO said we are not into revisiting the past when it came to this;

Driving a Ford GT has made me appreciate revisiting the past! :)

That Muira concept was delicious and I would have been seriously tempted had it made the production line.

EVO had a sneak peek at the Aventador and drove a mule as well. They loved it. Very very quick. It's going to be big hit and will be the first real big step up since Audi bought the company. This car is way beyond the Murcie in technology and design. The Murcie was really just a bit better than the Diablo. I think they are getting better. If they could shave some more weight off...

I read somewhere, waaay back when, that all Lambo's were meant to "Go Like The Wind" and thus all of the model names where named after a "Wind".

I've only heard/read about 'em being named after bulls[

Maybe it's named after a bull breaking wind?

Miura is a Bull ranch.

Countach? Wind or Bull?

"...countach doesn't really mean anything but it was a local dialect expression for "Cor! , wow!, look at that!".

The Murci was built on old line in San agata....

This looks all new; those side vents are the size of pizza boxes in person

You may be thinking of Pagani.

There was a white bull with 700 horses at the Anaheim Convention Center Auto Show on display last week. The picture does not do this car any justice, this is one mean, good looking machine PERROD. With TFT airline style gauge displays, and with Audi's hands on ergonomics, really unbelievable attention to details inside and out. If any of the locals want a peek, Lambo in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach has one on display as of yesterday (ask me how I know :biggrin)

I just spent some time with an Aventador a few weeks back! (First one in Canada)

What a car! Style was very cool, Electronics cool, but the interior is still very simple. But the exterior is amazing.

Gorgeous in white!!

needs chrome wheels IMHO

Why cant Ferrari make a car this good looking?

Trust me to look at things this way, but, every time I look at a Lambo or F-car, 'first thing that usually pops into my mind is, "I wonder what a full brake job on wunna those would set me back?" :biggrin

:bored Oh, yeah, I know...I know..."But, Pockets, you'd hafta actually DRIVE either one more than 3 blocks before that'd ever become an issue..."

Shuddup...:slap

needs chrome wheels IMHO

:rofl

Because they would rather compete with Japanese makes and have their cars look like pissed off insects that have Roid rage.

+1 on the chrome (or silver painted) wheels

I love the car in the Orange we were seeing a few months ago.

The Enzo is a masterpiece IMO. With the 458, Ferrari has finally re-invented itself and have finally shed "Old Man Enzo's" design influence.

Here are some photos of the car at the Jet Center Party in Monterey this year. Looks great in person. A friend of mine drove the black one while we were there.

Not gorgeous is how I view Ferrari.

Everything looks like a collagen injected, silicon ehhanced, pused up 80s exotic.

What is wrong with silicon enhancement if tastefully done?
