Attention all California, Nevada, and Arizona GT Owners.

Gentlemen,

I have been a Ford GT owner for almost 8 years now and have been to all 7 Rallies, Le Mans, Indy, and countless other functions. Great times all. DBK and various owners have taken it upon themselves to put together cool events that facilitate gatherings of this brotherhood that make Ford GT ownership far more than just the car. Last year, one of the Ford GT Build Team Members, Rich Roback and his wife Evelyn, put together one of the damnedest 2-day events ever on old Route 66 near the Arizona/California/Nevada borders. Rich had everything planned down to the smallest detail and he gave out guide books he put together explaining what was going on. It was history, amazing vistas, cool roads, crazy old towns, bitchin' bars, cool old cars, Ford GTs, a great group of owners, and a lot more. I've lived in Arizona for 57 years and I had no idea that these amazing places existed.

In any event, Rich has put together an even better event this year and if you miss it, well...............you really missed something special and whether you live in CA, AZ, or NV, you are only about 3 to 4 hours away. My GT was in the shop last year so I was driving my Shelby GT Mustang. It's the white car with silver stripes in the photos. You don't have to have a GT to join us on this trip. You'll have a great time nomatter what you are driving.

Go! Mr. Moose and I would do this again in a heartbeat! Rich really did a fantastic job introducing us to parts of Arizona we hadn’t seen before. Every leg was well timed – about the only thing that didn’t go as planned was the meal stops because everyone was having such a good time he couldn’t get us to shut up and leave! Really a great way to spend a weekend with your GT (and your significant other)! The only reason we aren’t going this year is because we will be on the East Coast (hello to our Boston/Cape Cod brethren!). Go! It’s FUN! You’ll see things you never knew existed. I am truly sorry to miss this!!
