My calander is so far quite free - please give me at least 3 months advance notice.......................
Quiet, catching up with cleaning up for the winter....next weekend remember sunday is hallockville farm...all depending on the weather......your wife is in for zucchini pie, we are about 25 so far....bring all the girls...its a great kids day.....gtjoey1314, will call you tomorrow.....Joey ? What 's going on this Sunday .. I'll be around.
In Montreal, make sure you guys go to Chez Paris for entertainment. In Quebec, make sure you dine at La Parmassean and make sure one of the 2 brothers (owners) serenade you. The younger one looks like Nardo. For accommodations in Quebec stay at the Chateau Frontnac.
Dougie,Gino, Dino and all the rest , we are all meeting at Hallockville on sunday, its also Lynda's birthday.............we are going to have a spread for all that comes. We have a section at the farm just for the Gt's. It will be from Model T to The GT all in a line....
See you then, should have the passport by next week , Don and I are still on with Gene and possible Kurt for the last weekend in Oct....any changes will report back if we can do it sooner.....thanks gtjoey1314
Great to hear you got the bug!So I've read this whole thing as it is a description of a real road trip with a GT. One thing still nags me. Where did you put luggage? Or did you just ship it UPS ahead of you? I convinced my wife that the GT will have all the creature comforts she wants but I haven't showed her the trunk yet. We want to be able to take it to Vegas for a week. Somehow the trailer from the other topic doesn't work for me (no trailer hitch will ever find its way onto my car) and the "strap on the back of the deck lid" like you used to see in the old Corvettes and MGs doesn't work either.
Shelby here is the picture........there in no way to fit a standard pice of luggage, it has to be rolled,pushed,tweeked.......good luck...
