I was curious about that myself, so I looked at the moderator log. No moderator locked it, and the only other person with the capability of locking a thread is the thread starter. Must have been an accident.

Okay......If I buy an F GTO for a few mil.......pull the orig drivetrain...put in an LS1 or 4.6 Ford with efi, automatic and a/c.......drive it almost daily.....then after about 10-20yrs ...... put back in the orig drivetrain, restore the body and interior....could I double my money????

Neither Chip, Tim, Rick or myself did it. Any one of the four can verify that.

When you go to edit a thread as a moderator or administrator, it leaves a moderator log which is shown at the bottom. Only thing anyone has done is me opening it.

Guys , its 8 30 sunday morning....dropped off Nardo at chicago airport to miss the big storm.........Im at the GTGUYS getting the fluids changed and tires checked after 7,500 miles in 13 days........................................wow...might have to stay in PA as all the tunnels/bridges and transit are closed........
The car runs unreal.......in Detroit we are around 55 degrees due to the eastern storm.,.....feels great from 106 in texas...
Great time will post pics when I get home in a couple of days...Im using Rich's computer as they are working on the car..........all looks great.....
Had a wonderful time in Utah.........

Many thanks to The GT Guys (Rich & Dennis) for making the trip uneventful mechanically. Car ran great and the new tires were smooth & quiet. Those guys know their chit!!!!!!!!

Layover in PA.........

Due to the hurricane, all the major roads were closed going to NY, We had to divert off I-80 and stay in a Hampton Inn. Used the hotel computer to post a few photos to keep you all entertained........Enjoy!

Joey is almost home from his return stop on the way back from the Rally. Here are a few pics of what we did to the car on his way out and on his way back.

On the way out west he stopped in for some new tires and we notice an oil leak. Later that night we brought the car back to our place after the dinner and had to put a speedi sleeve in it. Looks like not every car that needed one was done before original delivery.

On his way home we just did an oil change and a general look over. All looked good and he is on the last part of the journey.
