Are zero-stripe cars ever available?

:eek I reviewed the zero-stripe cars, and it seems like they were like at most 50 ever available in any color.

Are these all custom-dealer orders (dual stripe delete) for specifric customers orders.

I saw a sinister all black no stripe car in the Wixom DVD and thought that would be scorched to own (even pushing by 2nd choice Gulf color away).

However, I realized finding one new was probably impossible.

A Tungsten zero-stripe car would be amazing too.

When I was looking for a NO-OPTION GT, there was a No Stripe Tunsten GT in Texas, that was already spoken for. No dealer would order me a NO- OPTION GT, without a $20K non renfundable deposit and no garentee of delivery!!! I was looking on E-Bay Motors one Sunday and Gosch Ford in Hemet,Ca; About 70 miles from my house had a No Stripe, No MAC Stereo GT. I called them up, and offered them MSRP for it, they said OK, so I asked a frend of mine to drive me there and I drove it home that night.

When I got my car I had a choice between white/blue, red/white (both loaded) or a Red no stripe, no option. If I could do it again, I think I would have gotten the no option/no stripe car.

Mine was on the floor at my local dealer (black no stripe, 05). They are a small dealer and they only got 2 GT's. The amazing part, is they ordered the SAME car, again, for 06 (gforce, a member here bought the 2006).

Guess the dealer liked the look of the car. I sure do.

Now only if it did not have the Mac........

Las Vegas Lamborghini has a 2005 all red gt with the mcintosh stereo . It is sooooo gorgeous.

Wow, being flipped already. :confused

I didn't realize that a dealership had bought it from Centerpunch. Or maybe the individual that bought it turned it into the dealership.

Wow. Didn't expect it to be sold so soon, and up for sale again.

My dealership, State College PA, carefully thought about the ordering options when they selected their Ford GT allocation. They picked no McIntosh, no painted stripe. The two options they picked were red calipers, and side stripe. Their rational was that the side stripe could always be removed. They wanted to order the car, just as if they were ordering it for themselves, they told me, not in a way to maximize profit. I was surprised by this, but it turned out to be exactly the way I wanted it.

Last night, I had the side stripe professionally removed, knowing that I can purchase another side stripe kit from the dealer and return it to stock. Also, I left the Ford GT, knowing that it could also be removed anytime / replaced.

I also had extensive Venture Shield installed, including front end, headlights, foglights, sills, wheel arch areas. Otherwise the vehicle is stock.

Here is my black 2006.

SYCO,

That looks very nice.

I like it almost as much as the Heritage.:biggrin
:cheers

Beautiful!

And a smart dealership to boot.

Thanks Spirit.

I love the Heritage too. Very cool, striking, and unique in all of exotics.

Great looking car Syco, thanks for posting the pic. After seeing almost all the colors with and without stripes at the rally in my personal opinion the only no stripe cars I didn't care for were White and Tungsten. I thought Yellow Solid, Black and Red were especially awesome. I think white and tungsten look a little too washed out without stripes, but then again, any GT beats the alternative!

definitely bad ass... congrats.! the FORD GT without the side stripe is also, very, very good !

I would consider to paint the wheels black. Here they all go for that right now. Saw a Black on black Porsche here, man ...cool look. I am thinking of painting my spider wheels also black now, as a result.

Here's my GT, all black. I added the red side stripes though. Think it looks cool.

Love the red on black scylla6, although you probably should have gone with GT44! :)

I ordered my Yellow 2006 specifically with no stripes and side stripe delete (ie all yellow) and no stupid Big Mac radio which is the rarest combination available.

The reason dealers did not encourage such orders was simple economics as they made a profit on the options.
