Yep ……….. 10 years of ownership and still a privilege.

And a special thank you for the wonderful friendships we've made along the way.

I went over 10 years of ownership myself in May. I can't think of another car I'd rather own than the FGT, and of course my 1965 Shelby 427 Cobra. Every time I look at the FGT, it brings back wonderful memories of the first GT-40 I ever saw at the grand opening of the new Ford dealership in Huron, SD in 1967. Compound that with all the thrills it gives to everyone else when I cruise by them or take it to a car show. So many people love this car for some reason, even those who don't know anything about the GT-40 wins at Lemans. I guess they just love the lines and are flabbergasted that it's a Ford. LOL

My friend is visiting from Germany & his ultimate wish was to drive in a GT. I let him drive mine (full on DA traction control though - he was easy on it anyway). He said his life was now complete! I need him to meet Brombear as they are in the same city! And I need him to keep his eyes open! LOL! The FGT is an amazing car - not only materialistically but spiritually.
Thanks Ford!

Ed

PS Is this post on the correct thread? It's all good - I've had my GT over 10 years!
