(Just bare in mind this write up is not on a 2012 GTR)
Track prep
front and rear diff coolers(with willall fluids)
Trans cooler (With Willall fluids)
Racing brake fluid and pads
Mid pipe for decent sound
Harness bar and belts
That’s pretty much what I would do to any street car to make it track worthy.
Now I am told by the Boss development team ,that all you have to do to the Boss is change brake fluid. The car only comes with DOT3 .
I have not yet gotten my 302LS.But I sure am chopping at the bit! I have driven the Boss prototype at Vir and must say I could not get over how great the car was.I did not however know it was a Boss. When I got out of the car ,my first thought was .Boy have I been under estimating Mustangs! For those of you who were lucky enough to get a thrill ride with me ,Mark or Specracer you know what I am talking about!I have also had the pleasure (Thank you Mark Mcgowan) of driving the new Boss 302LS at the proving grounds.Again I was thoroughly impressed .It made me so excited ,well I leave it at that! The Boss 302 development team reminded me of the Gt development team in that they were all bunch of passionate car/ track guys .The main difference was ,they had a smaller budget to work with.Thank you and congrats to the development team! You guys did a brilliant job!
Like the GTR the Boss is such great bang for the price!I am already looking forward to lapping the Porsches at track events! If you could have seen the look on there faces when I pulled up in a Nissan ! I can’t wait to see there faces when I pull up in a Mustang Boss 302LS! I shall most definitely smile and wave when I go by them at the track !There will be a long line waiting for rides!
When it comes to fun ,well its like I say .Cars are like women there all fun and special in their own way.
I will do a nice write up when I can compare them both at the same track.
