Just thinking outside the box for a second, what about other rubber bumpers on a Ford? Places like the glove box, ashtray lid, etc? I was thinking about the glove box on a 67 corvette that might be close. Look at # 02 on this page. I don't have my vette anymore to measure the size but the shape looks good. Maybe someone has something they can measure?

It looks alot like and asytray lid bumper for a 1990ish 5.0 Ford mustang when viewed from the top.

With the help of Jamal and DBK, I was able to contact the manufacturer of the fuel filler door. They supplied Ford with the door and the installed rubber bumpers. This morning, I spoke with the vendor and he will be sending me a lifetime supply of the bumpers :thumbsup I'm guessing they will arrive sometime next week. PM me with your mailing address and quantity needed.

UPS just dropped off the package of rubber bumpers for the fuel filler door :biggrin I'll put the first batch in the mail tomorrow. If you need some of the bumpers, PM me your mailing address. If you don't need the now, feel free to request them any time in the future.
