Anybody thinning the herd....:(

What amazes me is how inexpensive and advanced some of the MFD technology have gotten over the years. Years ago I worked on the B2 & C17 MFDs where we agonized over screen sizes and such, now private airplanes have in them what I call miracles of the past.

BTW Chip, I would not invite Kendall to sit on that wing unless Kingman is sitting on the other wing.

Hey!:bs

Actually, it could be a QUICK way...which is not necessarily a "good" way...:willy:willy:willy

I would not want to have to get out of a plane in that rig that DBK is wearing. :eek Wearing a parachute like that is incentive to do everything possible before having to leave the plane. YIKES!!

That's a very neat looking cockpit - last time I was in a light aircraft, it looked nothing like that!

Anybody want a... Glasair III???
Chip

What, is this a trick question?

I always heard getting married was a good way to get rid of half your stuff...

:willy :lol

I am going to apply this methodology to my wife. It's not looking good for her at this point.

:lol

I have applied this methodology to mine and while it doesn't look good - I can't afford to part with her... :eek

Signal to leave the plane.

Skyrex,

You would be amazed how quickly you can get out when there is a problem. I had a ground fire once while fully strapped in. I was unbuckled, canopy open, out, and 25 yards from the plane in about 5 seconds. :eek

The Glasair III is extreemly loud and if your headset fails communication is almost impossible. So I give passengers a few hand signals to let me know if they're getting sick, want to return to the field, etc. A passenger asked me if there was a signal to bail out. I told him that one is easy. If you look over at me..........and I'm not in the airplane..........BAIL OUT!!
