I can imagine the planning they must be going through to make sure this application process goes off without a hitch. I know Ford will do the right thing and make it as fair to all of us as possible. Ford has done such a magnificent job designing this new work of art and following that with the reward to Ford GT customers to have a good chance at owning one is totally awesome.
My guess is it was given to the layers weeks ago. Chances are that some applicant will try and file a lawsuit when they don't make the cut. There'll probably be a lot of fine print full of disclaimers to try and prevent that.
I am sorry to inform you that Ford has decided that all NGTs will be delivered to applicants residing in Germany only. Key factor in this decision was that Ford wants to see people enjoying the car up to it's full potential on real roads (Autobahn) and not some Kindergarten back roads that have arbitrary speed limits. Having owners talk about mpg obtained driving slower than 100mph is considered no benchmark.
But there is hope, dear fellows. I am going to offer rides on a commercial basis so you can enjoy a NGT while visiting germany.
It'll be any time! This thread is funny as it reminds me of my kids when we used to go on road trips - "Are you we there yet?" "It'll be any time." LOL

PS Hang in there everyone! At least you have more time to put miles on your GT!
