Ford does have a few of those: F150, Flex, Focus, Fiesta, Fusion, and it may have proven too confusing. :facepalm:

Not so sure on that conclusion.

As I recall the Continental nameplate actually was resurrected because Ford (Lincoln) intended to sell it in China, where the MK (whatever letter) descriptor is a non-starter. A good decision I believe, but ironically, by default. ;-))
