FLM total sales reached 155,954, up 20% vs. April and the HIGHEST SALES for any month since July 2008.
· FLM gained share retail share for the SEVENTH time in the last 8 months – and again sailed past the 13% mark.
· For the second consecutive month, FLM outsold Toyota in total sales – a "repeat feat" not seen since March 2007.
· Fusion total sales were up 9% and set an ANY MONTH record (retail sales were down 2%, but still impressive compared to a 33% industry decline).

· Flex set an any-month sales record – TWO months in a row.
· GOING GREEN – Total Hybrid sales achieved a record month, eclipsing the previous record set in April 2006.
· F-150 retail sales were EQUAL to a year ago – remember that 33% industry drop!
· F-Series widened its lead against Silverado yet again, 18,534 units CTYD.

The real boost is probably two more months out as Dodge and GM inventories are picked over. And many people are considering a Domestic again.

Yes, whoever the individual was (or were) who purchased 'F' in the '1's' made a very shrewd move. And Alan Mulally is really proving to be an impressive leader. Unlike the other 'big 2', Ford will really provide a pure test of whether the american buyer will reconsider Detroit products when making their next purchase. They've leveled the product playing field in many cases, but have a lot of history to work off.

I didn't buy any F stock but I did just buy an F-150 (in May).

I also placed a deposit on one of the first 2010 Taurus SHOs. I've owned the 2 other SHOs when they first came out.

Hi Ed, Are you going to add blue stripes to the F150?:thumbsup

In order to not stray too much from the topic of the thread, I have noticed a bunch of new Ford Edge's around in my recent commutes. I am thinking about getting one, if I can get several bicycles in he back.

But good for Ford!:thumbsup

I had all my company work truck's painted Wimbledon White W/Guardsman blue stripes, here's a couple of them at the shop after a detailing. Its seems the GT racing heritage has found its way into my corporate philosophy "Racing into the future".

Ed, Sonic Blue Stripes would look prutty on that F-150

GOOD FOR FORD :thumbsup
