Another awesome California 1.6 Mile high speed event done

Thanks again to slyrex and summer for hosting an amazing high speed event. This time, they had 0.5, 1.0 and 1.6 Mile traps!! I only got 15 runs in, but that was mainly due to my 3hr in-trailer nap haha. 30 runs would have been easily doable. Zero waiting the entire day!

It was a bit hot and the DA was 5800. My best was 215, with a ton of 213/214 runs. Previous best by me was 224.2 so a bit bummed there. Saw a few of the forum peeps there as usual.

See you guys next year!

1/2 mile and 1 mile trap means they could see their speeds at these points on the track plus when crossing line at 1.6
 
My average was about 170 at the .5, 199 @ the 1.0, and 214 at the 1.6.

I think my best (last year btw) was 209.6 @ the 1.0 and 224.2 @ the 1.6. maybe 20F cooler. Plus no headwind last year.

It's always a cool event with SkyRex. I didn't have my GT back yet so I didn't get to participate. At last year's event I did 222.2mph at the 1.6 mark on 91 octane pump gas, street tune & 18 lbs boost on 3.4 Whippled Accufab engine. Drove it 400+ miles round trip for the event

Would be 5000+ mi round trip tho.
