Amber Side Marker Mod

The amber side markers have been bothering me. Has happened on other cars too. So I decided to get a spare set and paint them. Oh darn, this is not so simple..... there are directional indicators in these reflectors!! So had to be creative. Used some tail light tint paint 1st. Then followed up with body color. Install was pretty easy, pull the wheel and the front inner fender push clips, to be able to get behind the inner fender. Its very flexible, unlike the 05. Two 7mm nuts, and electrical connector.

Look at the middle picture, see the small blackish window at top? This is just a translucent tint, not body color. Yes lights are clearly visible (3 LED's).

Impressive mod and well done. You are a brave man with talent. I have seen a similar mod done to other cars. We all like to do a few minor mods that we can call our own.
