Well if any of you saw my post about the dealer I had a deal with not getting a heritage allocation you know I was a little bummed on Thursday.

Bad for me...Good for me though that my friend at Ford took me to a dealership locally, after I have been calling all the Heritage cars in the country and the dealers want 200+ for them, and met with the GM that had one in back.

Well I am now the proud owner of a 2006 Heritage GT.

2 words for ya..OH SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS thing is just a freakin blast to drive and my GOD does it PULL!!!!!!!

Putting the numbers on this morning and then getting the static cling material to get all the decals on the car I want..just like 1076

Don't make me beat you Vince. 6 was the number on the lemans car. I also have all the gulf stickers for the car just like the race car...going to put those on static cling. Will take pictures after this weekend when they are all on.

What a nice sight, to see a Heritage model out in the real world. You certainly have a beauty and a real attention getter. And perhaps Ford will end up making less than 200 units, so you may well have an even scarcer car. Thanks for posting the photo and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
