Here is the most recent info on airbag replacement and special instructions for mobile or at home repairs. It's an easy repair. No need to ride around with a corroded bomb in your face.

I do not believe there is a contact #. My advice would be to choose a dealer and contact them for scheduling.

I did my own recall today. Ford got tired of calling me and it was not convenient to bring my car in or be there when they did a mobile. So I went in Ford training and got certified to do my own recall.

Jim, Can you explain how you got "trained and certified" by Ford?

Hi, The service manager at my local Ford dealer provided a pin number to log in to Recall.fordservicetraining.com
I replaced both air bags on Saturday.

There actually is a GT Recall Specialist phone #.

Nthfinity provided the # and they were very helpful; coordinating the recall with dealer; and corrected my mailing address.

PM me if you need #.

Thanks for posting the letter; it allowed the Ford GT Recall Specialists to reach out to me. It’s a very professional effort; they had all our service data and are proactive in getting the last 2000 cars installed. It’s like a concierge-level effort.

so I got a call today from Roselyn at Ford Performance on my cell, e mail and my regular business phone, evidently they are really trying to get the last of the recalls done.
With my Ford dealer so bad I am afraid to take it there so also want to see if one of my service guys or I can do it, or do they send a qualified technician to ones house to do it?

The come-to-you team would be really preferred - essentially anyone who has experience with the GT. One of the dicey steps (for the inexperienced) is removal of the lower IP. While not difficult to get off, it has to be handled with great care. The middle part (above the START button) is only about 1" wide and if you don't handle it carefully it will want to fold there - creating a crease in the leather that you'll never get rid of. This piece must come completely out of the car and then back in again after the passenger airbag is replaced. The driver's side airbag is a piece of cake.

I watched the roaming team of two guys do a friend's GT - and these guys were REALLY good, respectful and careful.

You'd think that the dealerships probably have instructions for each car? What they've done with it, who knows. For those that still need to get this done, I guess one of the most important questions to the person(s) that will do the work is to ask how many GTs he/she has done before?
