This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and finally was able to get it done.

As many know working on these cars, taking belly pans off etc is a pita! You either need a 4 post lift or two jacks and then take rear belly pans off before putting on two post lift.

These hydraulic lifts have locking stands once the car is lifted and the car is rock solid once the car is lowered a inch or two and the locks are in place.

I’m working on an electric controller and pump, first attempt it raised the front of the car perfect but wouldn’t quite lift the rear and it’s much quicker than the hydraulic version. That was with a 12amp Milwaukee battery which is the biggest cordless battery you can buy. Lifts a 3200lb car no problem but the 60% weight on the rear of the gt makes it a little difficult for the electric over hydraulic motor to lift the rear. So back to figuring that out.

Lifts the car about 22”. They have pads with some dowl pins that stick out and lock into The chassis In the rear and front of the car. On top of the pads there will be 1/4 abs plastic so there won’t be any metal touching the car. The electric version is nice for aligning the dowl pins into chassis before lifting. So I will keep on that to make it more user friendly and being able to remotely service cars with out a lift will be a breeze with these.

Sure beats 14" or so on jack stands. Great work, and keep us posted.

Electric over hydraulic Jacks all tested and done! Just did a clutch job and some other things to this car for Sam on this set up and it worked amazing.

I have a couple valves coming to equal out the lift so front and rear will lift at same time and to be able to slow down how quickly it lowers.

Set up is gonna run $5750.00, all you need to power it is a Milwaukee 20v 12ah battery. Totally mobile then, oil changes on Jack’s are a breeze.
