Well I know there have been many folks waiting in the wings for the new Air/ Fuel gauges that will go in place of the volt gauge. A huge Thank you to Shadowman and Michael (Britospeed) for putting up with me during this process with all the questions before, during, and after the installation.:thumbsup KDO GT and Pe2unia are the first to have them installed with the relentless guidance of Shadowman and Michael to ease the installation process. Check them out and let me know what you think as they work great!:banana

Here is a picture of the kit before installation

Here is the O2 sensor installed in the temporary location as I will have a bung welded in just before the cat at a later date.

Is the LED in the gauge face a warning indicator?
If so very cool.

Yes, mostly a diagnostic tool as well as to let you know if your voltage is low

Excellent addition! That's what I was thinking about with the loss of the voltmeter.

The led is the volt notification

We designed it so that when you turn the key on and before the car starts the led is red showing that the charing systemn is on line and then once running it turns to a low green showing that all systems are online and operational and then if a charging circuit failure the led turns red.

Very cool. How do we get? I have the 30 lb boost gauge from Michael, also, as shown. This gauge will be a perfect complement.

Looks cool. What is the advantage of knowing air/fuel ratio?

You would know at a moment in time if you are running rich or lean. For daily driving it's just another information point.
It would be interesting to see what the afr is reading after you make mods or are driving in everyday conditions.

So Cal
I have a dumb question, the ratio in relation to what number, is there a number below or above a set point ?

What ????; and yet there are no dumb questions; thank you for asking.

The number as evidenced on the gauge is the a/f ratio as being received from the wide band O2 sensor; there is no baseline number to which a number is added to or subtracted from the number as seen on the gauge.

Please let me know if you have any addition questions.
