Speeding in a Volvo! That is rare. You and Bony are the only ones that I heard of that may drive Volvos near the speed limit. One of my rules of driving is that when on a multi-lane road and you must follow a car, never chose a Volvo! It works for me.
Steve was an online web base traffic school available? Those are much easier to suffer through if you read fast.
They know we drive the only car that can ram'um and then just keep on going without the driver even getting a scratch....oh and how stylish we look driving them.:wink

Obviously you guys don't know about Drivingschoolonline.com. $30, do at your own leisure. Get certificate, send to Circuit Clerk's office, home free. Not all counties use it though, but the website does list them all by state. Best thing I ever did. Give my name and I get a rebate on my next course.
Okay everyone, I'm going to give you a couple of secrets for getting out of tickets in California (maybe other states as well).
1. If you do get a ticket for speeding (not radar) and the police is tracking you for speed verification....try and make sure that you go around a turn so that the cop looses site of you at least one time. Then protest the ticket go to court, have the cop on the stand and ask him if at anytime if he lost sight of you. If he is honest (and most are) he will say yes. The case will be dismissed. This worked for me one time.
2. Try and make a friend or find a friend that has a realitive who is a local city cop or a CHP. Put a yellow post it note behind your drivers lic. that says; "In case of emergency contact officer Bob Smith of the CHP at this number". When you are pulled over, hand him your drivers lic. with the post it facing up. He will read the post it. If he asks you who that is, say a brother in law or some distant relative. This works every time! No cop local or CHP wants to give a relative of another cop a ticket! I have a friend who is a retired CHP and he told me to do this. He says all the guys have an unwritten code that I.D.'s friends and family that way. This has worked for me three times over the years.
A buisness card from a cop will not work! Those are considered a must ticket to most cops.
