They should tie this into something like Sony's Grand Turismo 4, with layouts of all road courses around the world and make it in 3d with surround sound.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing $25K for a 3 D.O.F. (Degree of Freedom) system and $50K if it is a 6 D.O.F.

I used to be in the simulator business - both for the military and Electronic Arts. The problem with most of these systems is the fidelity of the Physics and Math models. Synchronizing the motion based system to the display update rate and to your eyes shutter frequency is a science.

Low fidelety = Puke

High Fidelity = Buck$

A test drive should be in order.

At the end it looked like a crash simulator. That unit could benefit from some suspension tweaking. With that said, I would love to have one. You, and your friends could go for a ride 24/7.

Pricing

Count me in on this toy. Safe (good for old guys like myself), low insurance costs, hopefully low repairs and no tires needed. What a deal!
