A Morning at Galpin Ford in North Hills, California

You wouldn't have said that if you saw any pictures of BMWs.

I saw enough ugly BMWs at the auction yesterday to make me puke for a life time.

However, I really contemplated buying a Z8. It was silver with Black interior, if she had Red interior with lesser miles, she would have been in my garage.

That is FORD heaven if I've ever seen one. I could live in that showroom forever. Those Mustangs are nice. I like the older muscles in the showroom.

Anyone notice the XK120 FHC next to the XJ 220? the 120 was my first car...it was a coupe and it had the disc wheels and fender skirts.

Stop being Switzerland about it. Did you have a favorite?:biggrin

So many choices. I really liked the Mercury, and also I'd never seen a DBS up closely, and I liked it also.

I hope you find your Z8 with red interior soon.

How much did the Silver and Black Z8 go for? I love that engine.

I think it sold for $72K. It had $28,000 miles and it looks like it was enjoyed.

I can't wait to see the thread if HHGT posts pics of a BMW that he owns.

Randy,

I had nothing short of the opposite experience with Galpin. Refuse to go back. Use Buerge Ford in West LA, and there I am the King!

That seems like a good bargain unless it was completely used and abused.

Keep looking, I know you will find a nice one.

Sam is secretly building a hidden garage to house his modern BMW collection. See, he is on a mission to drive prices and demand down so he can pick them up at rock bottom prices. It's brilliant. :wink

I think I will weld together all modern BMWs that are wanna-be performance cars into the world's largest boat anchor and create a fish habitat at the same time.
