Are the Radicals a modern version of the Formula cars (Mazda, Ford)? I drove the Formula Mazdas at the Bondurant classes and they were a hoot. Do you own them? I recall from Rally 9 that there seemed to be a big Radical presence there, both owned and rentals and garages/mechanics. Pretty cool.

Hi Tony,
Yes, even though you can rent them, most own them to race in the series. The analogy you mention is probably a pretty good one for what the Radical is. Over the last decade they have had several Radical racing spec racing series and also race in other series too. They are not the most advanced in technology, but still are extremely fast and competitive because of a great power to weight and good aero package. Spring Mountain was probably the biggest dealer Radical has ever had and they still support them for our club racing series too. There are still very few racing cars faster than a Radical, Last month a Radical won at the overall at the 25 hour at Thunderhill last month against some very high end competition.
