Spent an afternoon and evening this week taking some photos of my GT. One friend provided the location, another provided serious photography chops.

Here are a couple phone pics I took of the setup, I'll post a few early draft pics in another post or two.

I like those first two: Taking pictures of the picture takers :) (y)

But I really like the 2nd two, and look forward to more (y) 🍻

Fantastic! Great job!

Another one.

Nice photos of a great car

Interesting how big the delta between front and rear wheel diameters appear in pictures even though it is only 1 inch.

Very nice.

excellent pictures! Not a bad angle on the GT of any MY!

Love the shots with the dark background and lighted driveway.

Tungsten is a subtle color, sometimes tough to photograph.

Great job, please post some more!

Here's a nice heritage photo he took many years ago.

More nice car pics of his here:

It is wild. I was looking at newly shod Bridgestones, and the rears looked impossibly HUGE. I kept checking the tire sizes in fear that I had incorrectly received the wrong size. Then when they were mounted and balanced, they looked even bigger.

When mounted on the GT itself, they look fine. But standing along separately, the difference indeed seems exaggerated.

That tire size differential is one of the aspects that looks so striking and awesome in person but that pics don't seem to be able to capture.

I have noticed the optical illusion on other cars as well.
