LTs are nice cars and sub $400k give or take now. I have a 650S and suposedly the LT is a big jump up in performance

The aero and suspension are really the core "party tricks" of the car.

And they make the car unlike any other road legal car today! Any word on weight?

How about factory tie down points for transport? Will that be an option?

I'm guessing no. they would only add weight. Most transpoters are doing wheel baskets etc..

Keep the focus and purpose of this car in mind and don't be disappointed if it's not the drag strip king. There is way, way more going on with this car than straight line acceleration. This car was conceived and designed to win Le Mans, where aero is the all-consuming consideration. Never before has a production car so closely resemble the race car. If it's tenths slower through the quarter mile then Brand X, Model Y, and you're upset about it, you don't get the point of the car.

We should get both acceleration and track dominance. In the 675LT for 400k it's both the acceleration gold standard (both 0-60 and 1/4 mile) and the track king right now. Nothing short of the hypercars can touch it. Ford has had 3 years to improve upon this benchmark. I've got big expectations from Ford on this car and expect them to deliver.

As long as the Ford outperforms the Mac in reliability I can live with a couple of tenths difference in performance. It would be interesting to hear from tne GT development team how many times the 675 broke during their comparison work....

Just in time for Christmas some of the information I wanted the most! In agreement with many of you on several points. Can not wait to drive and drive and drive it. Tracking the GT should be a requirement! So good!

I drove an LT a few weeks ago, awesome car, also raced it with my 650S, LT is faster, but closer than I thought.... didn't see worth the upgrade premium over my 650S.... I have everything on hold anyways waiting for the GT...

If weight comes in on target every aspect of performance will be good, assuming that target is under 2900 pounds. If not, there is always the potential for a boost increase...
