No it has nothing to do with Ford's calibrations. I have never seen that in one and I have tuned a lot of cars. This is specific to the SRT8 Jeep only.
13.5@103 Stock 800 miles
13.4-13.3@104 with my CAI
12.9@107.5 CAI and 30 dry shot
Also until you get these past the 3000 mile mark the throttle only opens 90% I am at 2500 right now so its not opening up all the way yet. I have a 150 wet shot on it tuned really conservatively and new track times will come tomorrow.
I am not sure if its in the manual or not. I can datalog every sensor in that vehicle and under WOT throttle position absolute is only 86%. Remeber it has ETC drive by wire. So I can watch it do what it's doing.

Really? Does it say that in the owners manual? Do all SRT8 models do that too?
at this elevated power level its best to have it this way. in the lower gears it will help to keep from lighting up the tires and on a road course it will help to control wheel spin when coming off the corners. on a long track road course this car with twin turbos will ablolutely eat the competition alive. no heat soak etiher with the use of the stock intercooler. that rear engine design that the GT has is just way pimp :cool
